I have an amazing opportunity for a Supported Housing Officer to join an organisation based in Bradford that provides a support service for men who are fleeing or surviving domestic abuse.
Duties include but not limited to:
·To provide housing related support and intensive housing management to men and women with a history of rough sleeping in our accommodation.
·To work with the charity's referrals and allocations procedures, Bradford Councils Gateway service and other referral agencies, to ensure that we maximise on occupancy and support vulnerable clients into our services.
·To provide and promote practical and emotional support in order to assist in the development of service users life skills and enable them to move on into independent accommodation within 12 months maximum stay.  
·In accordance with our client's policies and procedures, to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of all its services in order to promote and encourage good practice.
·To work flexibly and cover holidays, sickness and work some bank holidays. Covering for colleagues sometimes at short notice.
·To work flexible hours in order to meet the needs of the Service Users. This includes early morning or evening working.
·To work in the community at service users home addresses which are dispersed in Bradford.
·To regularly visit other services including No Second Night Out, Day Shelter and Housing Options service in order to promote our units to rough sleeping men and women.
·To assist the Head of Service and Team Leader in any publicity strategies in order to raise awareness of the issues affecting rough sleeping men and women, particularly issues around safeguarding, public safety and community cohesion.
·To be assigned a Champion role
£18,000 per annum with pay increase to £19,500 after probation period
Monday to Friday 35 hours per week
Enhanced DBS required
Full and clean driving license + own vehicle – Essential
Urdu or Punjabi speaker would be nice to have.

  • Customer Sales Co-ordinator

    Our client, one of the UK's market leaders for fitted luxury Bedroom and Home Study furniture, based in Leeds, requires a Customer Services Co-ordinator to help continue with its success. In this role, you will be responsible for managing installations from the drawing stage through production to completion to the full satisfaction of the customer.

    The position of Customer Services Co-ordinator requires a person with the following skills:

    Quality project management skills to drive through successful installations. First class, hands on, customer service communication skills both verbal and written.Able to co-ordinator projects with the customer between: Surveyors, Fitters, Factory and Technicians.Ability to interpret furniture designs and installation drawings. Ability to use IT systems.Proven experience in a fast paced administration role with excellent letter writing skills essential.Exemplary planning and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise daily workload.High level verbal and written communication skills with an excellent level of English in spelling and grammar.

    The ideal candidate will be

    Confident, bright and enthusiastic team player dedicated to implementing projects on time and within budget. An excellent all-round communicator with colleagues and customers.Computer literate and able to apply our business systems.Able to learn quickly from our training and support programmes to gain product knowledge. Experienced in an office environment with excellent letter writing skills would be desirable but not essential. Attention to detail and maintaining a high level of accuracy is essential.
