We are recruiting for a Commercial Sales Executive to join a small and friendly team at our client based in North West Leeds. If you excel at customer service and want to work for a company where you will valued member of the team rather than just a number, this role could be for you. You will be working in a motivated and customer-focused team with responsibility for inbound and outbound enquiries with a particular focus on renewals. If you have insurance experience this would be an added bonus but not essential as full training will be given. Overall responsibilities of the role will include: ·To provide an efficient and first-class service to clients when dealing with correspondence, telephone calls and upkeep of records ·Increase level of new business and add Ons ·Maximise Renewal Retention ·Ensure excellent quality of documentation is produced and maintained The role will be split in the following ways: 40% = Renewals Quote commercial renewals. Ensure renewals are quoted accurately, the client is given all the required information. Ensure renewal spread sheets are kept up to date. Chase up any renewals quoted, discuss the prices quoted to the client and try to match or beat any alternative quotes the client may have had to try and maximise renewal retention. Process renewals that come in through the post, directly in the office or over the phone. Complete the required paperwork and lapse off any policies that do not renew and ensure the renewal spread sheet is kept up to date. Ensure clear notes are put on Electra and the renewal spread sheet if the renewal has not been invited. 20% = Phone Calls Deal with phone calls and clients in the office relating to Personal Lines and Commercial Products. Answer the phone within 4 rings wherever possible in conjunction with other staff. Take responsibility for the phone call and document anything discussed. 15% = Increase New Business Levels Pro-actively look for ways to increase new business for Personal Lines & Commercial Products. Chase up any leads as a result of Cold Calling, visit businesses, contact previously lapsed or quoted clients. Actively chase renewal dates and cross sell household insurance for existing clients. Present ideas for increasing new business to your manager during your monthly meeting. 10% = New Business Quotations Provide quotations for Personal Lines and Commercial Products. Ensure quotes are accurate, the client is given all the required information and we offer the most competitive price. Discuss the prices quoted to the client and try to match or beat any alternative quotes the client may have had. Chase up any quotes that are not incepted to try and maximise the levels of new business. Record the client’s details on Electra and complete the required paperwork for any policies that are incepted. If the policy is not incepted set diaries for the following year, to enable seamless chasing. 5% = Diaries Deal with own diaries on a daily basis and other team members as and when required. 5% = Ad hoc duties Including sorting post, scanning, continuation cover notes, mail shots, daily stats and reports in the absence of other staff members. Helping other teams as and when required to ensure the office runs effectively 5% = Own Training and development Use quiet periods to read through new information/policies/guides/staff memo’s etc. If you have excellent customer service experience and work well within a team, don’t hesitate – apply now.
