Our client, a successful and established business based in East Leeds, is currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join them. This is a varied role and as the Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for marketing the company’s products and brands by assisting with the development and implementation of regular marketing and advertising campaigns both on and offline.
As Marketing Coordinator you will work with the company Managing Director and Sales Team to action the marketing aims of the business.
You should be comfortable working within a team but also demonstrate a capability to work on your own initiative and have a proven record of self-management.
The role will be weighted in favour of website development and activity and the you must be able to demonstrate a good all round understanding and experience of SEO and associated type roles.
Role, responsibilities & duties:
Contribute and assist with the preparation of the company marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives, promotional strategy and marketing campaigns with analysis of results.
Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising sales and other data.
Implement marketing and advertising campaigns across a wide variety of both online and offline platforms.
Management of company web presence with responsibility for updating and innovating the content of company websites.
Track product line sales and enquiries, analysing new business data and feeding sales leads from digital marketing to the sales team.
Tracking competition pricing and activity and updating management with the detail.
Analysing company sales data and maintenance of multiple data bases.
Assist in the production, circulation and maintenance of both hard and soft copy promotional materials.
Prepare campaign feedback & performance reports to Management team.
Manage online conversions relaying customer service requests including actioning requests for PDF and hard copy price lists.
Maintain stock of promotional materials/give-aways by coordinating requirements with suppliers and designing new material where required using design software.
Ensure the competitiveness of company products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; then share this by creating marketing copy and content in blog posts and other areas
Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating suitable exhibition types and venues.
Monitor budgets by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Accomplish organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing key marketing and corporate objectives
Experience of prior successful email marketing campaign work, ideally using the MailChimp platform, maintaining company mailing list effectively and growing this in a GDPR compliant manner.
Experience of SEO both onsite and offsite including backlinks.
Experience of Google Analytics, Google My Business and Google Adwords, ability to effectively drive online traffic to company websites with web related marketing campaigns
Previous management of e-commerce websites, including use of the Magento platform
Minimum basic graphic design skills are required with Photoshop and/or InDesign experience ideal.
Experience using a CRM system to monitor customer sales, record prospect details and list marketing information against relevant accounts
