Due to an internal promotion, our client based near Dewsbury is currently recruiting for an experienced HR Co-ordinator to join their small HR team. They are a firm of specialist engineers with a solid history going back 100 years. Currently having 17 sites throughout the UK and around 470 staff. This is a great opportunity to join a well established company who are continuing to grow and change.

To carry out the role you will be an experienced HR professional ideally with a minimum of 2 years HR experience. The role is extremely busy and fast paced and duties and responsibilities will include:

·Administer the end to end HR transactional activities associated with the employment cycle.
·Prepare and produce correspondence for employees and update to personnel files
·Respond to employee enquiries in accordance with service level agreements
·Provide routine advice and guidance to managers on employee relations and performance management matters
·Act as HR system “super user” and support new module roll out and opportunities for system enhancement.
·Update employee data into HR system in an accurate and timely manner
·Escalation of issues to Head of HR
·Monitor probation process with line managers to ensure probation is being managed appropriately
·Provide advice to managers on use of HR system to develop their knowledge.
·Support Head of HR in developing improved HR customer service provision and systems and process efficiencies
·Proactive and positive partnership working with Finance and payroll team
·Make recommendations, based on engagement and exit processes to improve employee retention
·Produce offer letters, contractual changes, starters and leavers documentation.
·Maintain employee attendance, holiday, training and personal records.
·Benefits administered in accordance with company policies.
·Maintain confidentiality of information.
·Support and contribute to the continuous improvement of the end to end employee life cycle processing provided by the HR team.

Requirements
·2 years HR experience
·CIPD highly desirable
·Good standard of education
·Attention to detail
·Competent using HR systems
·Stakeholder management experience
·Good administration skills

Salary £23,000 – £25,000
37.5 hours per week
25 days holiday + stats
