Headway is recruiting for a Project Manager with experience within the partitioning and fit out sector. Our client designs and builds office blocks within warehouses and complete projects that involve installing mezzanine floors, offices, WCs,breakout areas, refurbishments and partitioning works.
The role will be with our projects team and the successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day project management of a range of projects. You will be responsible for the successful implementation and completion of our projects.
The successful person will have great communication skills and be used to working in a fast paced office with deadlines. You will be expected to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. Contract values will range from £1k – £500k.
·Experience within the fit out sector essential.
·Beneficial if you have experience involving mezzanine floors.
·Experience writing RAMS essential with a good awareness of health and safety.
·Experience writing programmes of works preferable.
·On site experience beneficial (although not essential)
The role will be based from our client’s office near Wakefield
·AutoCAD (although not essential)
·Microsoft Word and Excel
·Microsoft Project (MS Project)
Day to day job will include
·Organising, sourcing and managing labour
·Ordering materials in conjunction with our purchasing department
·Creating programme of works
·Communicating with customers
·Completing site visits to inspect standard of work, progress on site and feeding information back to the contracts team
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the contracts team in a fast growing, young, dynamic company.
Salary 25-35k (dependant on experience)
