Our client is a multi award winning business with a long history. Due to ever increasing success within the market they now have an opening for an Electrical Engineer to join them. They are a forward thinking and innovative company that have doubled in size in the last few years so you will be joining.
As a Electrical Engineer you will work in a busy team that designs and builds machinery in a development department. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a change from maintenance and into a development position.
Ideal candidate would have:
An apprentice trained electrical engineering background with City & Guilds 2330 or equivalent and City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition.
Building and modifying electrical components for new and existing machinery
Design, build and install electrical control panels
Create, modify and follow electrical schematic drawings
Working through electrical/PLC faults to a satisfactory resolution in a busy production environment
Working with, modifying and installing machine automation
Understand, writing and modify PLC ladder logic
Experience of fault finding and amending programmes on PLCs - Essential
Experience with process handling machinery advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work to deadlines
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Hours of work:
39 hours per week. Mon - Fri 6am - 2.15pm or 7am - 3.15pm with an early finish Friday
